News/PoliceDriver arrested for pointing gun at another motoristFebruary 4, 2011RAPID RIVER - Two Schoolcraft County residents were arrested Thursday in Rapid River after the driver allegedly pointed a gun at another motorist.
The Michigan State Police say a 28-year-old Manistique man pointed a handgun at a motorist on U.S. 2. Police received the call at 3:20 p.m. and found the vehicle traveling west on U.S. 2 in Rapid River.
He was arrested without incident and charged with carrying a concealed weapon and possession of a firearm during a felony. He and a 21-year-old Gulliver woman were also charged with possession of cocaine, marijuana and a schedule 4 narcotic.
